Why Pride...
For the majority of our queer lives, we live in a very straight world...but for a day, week or month every year we celebrate Pride, where the queer community comes together to celebrate who we are.
Pride grows every year. More cities are hosting pride festivals and activities, more and more events are happening and more queers are coming out to join in the queer love.
History of Pride
When asked about the history of pride, often the first thing that comes to people's minds are the Stonewall Riots. Canada, however, has it's own rich history and turning points in the struggle for and eventual celebration of LGBT rights.
