Queer Virtual Trivia

We're super excited to be hosting our very first event: virtual trivia! Hosted by the wonderful Suzie Taka!

Assemble your teams (up to 4) and sign up! Questions will be Queer, tunes will be named and we sincerely hope team names will be punny.

Don't have a team? No problem! Sign up as a free agent and we'll place you with some other wonderful folx in the community.

Tickets are pay what you can (minimum $5, suggested donation of $10-20). If you have any trouble with registration, please email us at dykebartakeoverkw@gmail.com. A zoom link to trivia will be emailed to you the day before the event.

All proceeds will be donated to a cause near and dear to our hearts: Spectrum. Spectrum been a pillar in Waterloo Region for LGBTQ2S+ resources, events, support groups and programming since 2012. Their passion and hard work has helped create a stronger and more inclusive community. We're excited to support the amazing folx at Spectrum!

About Dyke Bar Takeover KW (DBT-KW)

At Dyke Bar Takeover KW (DBT-KW), we're a group of passionate folx creating events for queer cis and trans women, as well as non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centers the experiences of women. Allies are welcome to support and attend events.

We partner with local artists and venues to create pop-up events. Currently, we are running virtual events due to COVID-19. A portion of cover charges will be used to pay the artist involved and the remainder will be donated to a LGBTQ2S+ charity. We prioritize supporting queer/BIPOC artists and queer-focussed charitable organizations. Our goal is to support local queer art and causes to continue to grow a safer and more inclusive community.
