Queering the Kitchen

Join Queer Events for our first edition of Queering the Kitchen at the Covent Garden Market. We've got a great evening lined up for all of us to enjoy together.

This Month's Dish:  

Cajun/Creole Gumbo recipe with a Gluten free jalapeno cornbread.

There will be both a meat and vegetarian version created for all to enjoy.

Our Culinary teacher - Adam

Adam is a passionate newcomer to the London Culinary scene. The former graduate of St. Clair College’s Music Theatre Performance program got bitten by the baking bug and studied the magical techniques of Artisanal Bread baking. Learning under the tutelage of Lead Baker Kaleb Ellie, and Sourdough specialist Richard Ellie at Artisan Bakery, he furthered his skills in baking bread and pastries, and he continued to immerse himself into books, resources and videos on topics from bechamel’s to biscotti.  Adam is now a student of Fanshawe College’s Culinary Skills and Management Program and works as a Sourdough specialist at Artisan Bakery. His hope is to offer his skills to the community and so that the next generation can keep important food traditions alive.
