All events are free and open to the public. Refreshments are provided. Students registered with ExperienceBU receive credit on the Campus-Wide Co-Curriculum Diversity & Inclusion domain.   Workshop Description Tai will be talking about trans inclusion on university and college campuses: the possibilities and limits of inclusion, what it could look like materially and structurally, and why we need to be critical of certain discourses on inclusion. They will engage with the current campus discourse around washrooms and pronouns, opening up space to imagine a learning environment that does more than just fold in trans experiences to an already existing structure, but rather looks towards systemic changes that actually transform themselves to trans-ness.   Tai Jacob Bio Tai Jacob is a Master's student in Human Geography at McGill University whose research interests lie in refugee studies, migrant justice, border abolition and queer and trans geographies. They have presented talks at Brock University, Mohawk College, Ryerson University and McMaster University on gentrification, trans justice, and student activism. They also host and produce the podcast Gender Blender.    The Speakers Series is in partnership with Brock University Graduate Students Association, BUSU Advocacy, BUSU Student Justice Centre, and Brock University Residences Event Details Thistle Complex, Student Justice Centre, Room 252 To register email: humanrights@brocku.ca For more information on these events or for accommodation requests please - Michelle Poirier at 905-688-5550 x 6859 or humanrights@brocku.ca Brock University QueerEvents America/Toronto public
