Rainbow Camp's® Leaders-in-Training (LIT) Program - A two-week program is designed for 18 year olds that identify as LGBTQ2+. The first week will focus on leaderships, team-based activities, and social change. In the second week, LITs will have opportunities to employ their leadership skills with younger campers with the support of Rainbow Camp® counsellors as mentors. The Rainbow Camp® LIT program aims to foster skills in collaboration, accountability and leadership through the eyes of a camp counsellor and leaders in the LGBTQ2+ community. In addition to the leadership programming, LITs will have opportunities to participate in traditional camp activities such as swimming, canoeing, campfires and crafts.
Accessibility Notes
Although there are accessible facilities on the camp grounds (including bathrooms and one cabin), it would be very difficult to navigate the grounds using a wheel chair as the ground is all soft sand.
