Queer Kitchen
Queer Events presents a new all inclusive Queering the Kitchen, as one of our most recent initiatives.
Once a month we'll create a new dish together while we learn new kitchen tricks, healthy eating and more from our local LGBT2Q+ Culinary teachers, instructors and chefs who will lead our sessions.
In partnership with the Covent Garden Market, Queer Kitchen aims to bring all members of our community together in a safe, supportive and inclusive space to enjoy conversation, learn new skills while we create and share a meal together.
Food is universal — it is one of the only things that connects us all, regardless of who you are or where you come from. This event aims to facilitate connections in the queer community through food while fosterng a safe and inclusive environment, with a focus on highlighting the importance of food as a community-building agent and roundtable for discussion, skill-building, and networking.
Each session will feature a unique dish and new topic covering kitchen safety, skills and health eating.
This is a space for all members of the LGBT2Q+ community.
We do recommend 14+ however with guardian supervision all ages are welcome.
Queering the Kitchen events were held in partnership with the Covent Garden Market's Outdoor Farmers' Market.
Important Update: COVID-19 Impact
Due to the need for us all to practice physical distancing, the 2020 spring/summer series of Queering the Kitchen has unfortunately been cancelled.
